Detail shot of a Hira Zukuri short katana/long wakizashi. Notice the mistiness rising from the hamon.

It was an interesting blade to polish. The owner had me mount the piece with a full 11" tsuka like a katana would have. The blade is very fast and quite beautiful. I used antique fuchi kashira and menuki and a tsuba and habaki also made by Howard Clark.
